you may think it have nothing to do with hunting in africa but experience have show that wildlife is coming back if you regreening desert area's.

Very rejoicing.

IMO planting and successfully at that is a laudable action. I suppose it implies to reduce over grazing and to reduce the seed eaters.
Practically reducing or keeping at large flocks, especially goats. Also controlling rodents and birds which eat the seeds. It's all about agriculture, game is definitely out of question.
It also depends on water availability.
But a very encouraging move, I hope it will be sustained and serve as an example.
