Finally got my Custom Swede Build sighted in; VERY impressed

I always knew this rifle was a shooter but had some concerns about accuracy in a full length stock, so I glass bedded it just for insurance. After bore sighting I set up my "custom" rifle rest and sighted in at 90 yards (the length of my back yard). Ammo was factory Hornady Custom 140 grain in 6.5x55. First pic is 3 shot string measuring .357 inches, second pic is total of 6 shots.
I think with some final fiddling with windage we are set for deer season.

Well, that is impressive for any full stocked rifle. Looks good with that old Weaver on there, too. I like the bolt's walnut knob as well.

HOTH, only a smidgin of windage & you're set alright - top grouping there

Love the "old swede's"

I actually like the original barrels in them with step down's and haven't seen one that wouldn't shoot yet. I am sure they're out there but all my mates who've ever done one up have all had good groupers. Looks beautiful too, well done I am sure you will enjoy.

Excellent. It is always amazing how accurate the old M96 Swedes are, even without fine fitting and extra work.

Fantastic rifle and excellent shooting. I have a question, what is the side scope mount you used, what model is the mount on the rifle?
