Hello,

I would like to purchase one of these books if you have any left. What will it cost including shipping to the USA (Virginia, 22408 ZIP code)? I can send payment via Paypal. Thank you for your help!

Regards,

Jim

Okay, let ask this again, an different way.

I have the 2nd edition, why should I buy the third edition edition...what does it say that the 2nd doesn't?

What's new in it?

DoubleD
In response to your question,

firstly an extra 108 pages the second edition has 180 pages this edition has 288 pages.

I will now quote from the Prologue of this book page 17.

"In this edition you will notice a lot more load data for full nitro double rifles . For this edition I have tried to shoot all the common cartridges and provide load information . The pressure test has once again been increased and each chapter revised to take account of the latest information available. The paradox chapter contrains some information on using the paradox in the hunting field ,both as a rifle and a shotgun."

I hope this helps

good shooting

Thanks!!

There's some good loads and pressures given in nitro for black falling blocks etc.

Whenever I purchase a book from the U.S. it usually takes 10-14 days via airmail.

So, according to sbs470, we can figure on
2 weeks if by airmail and 12 if by boat.
Does anyone know by which NitroX mailed them?

Sorry, had not not been able to revisit this thread or the forums for the last couple of weeks. Hadn't noticed it before as it is better to PM or email enquiries usually where queries can be directly answered.

All the ordered books have been packaged up and sent out. Your copies will arrive in the next day to 2 weeks depending on your location.

Unfortunately I was delayed by two weeks due to certain matters in sending books out. Apologies for any inconvenience.

I entered the shipping information as a "tracking number" on PayPal, so every existing orderer should have received an email to confirm. The tracking number is an internal number for NE only and can not be tracked at the Aust Post website.

Basically all the books purchased into stock have been sold, which was a quite considerable number. Except for a small quantity reserved for a couple of persons enquiring about a shipping quotation.

NEW STOCKS will be ordered in, however these won't be able to be shipped until approx the 20th of Oct (as I will again away from home from the end of the month to approx mid-Oct).

The potential delay in shipping for NEW orders (from today) has been noted on the ORDERING page.

NEW ORDERS can still be made to reserve a copy. They do sell out fast.

I got an Paypal email notice too.
I couldn't get the Australian Post tracking system to tell me anything.
It says,"Please enter a 13 character consignment note number".
I should have looked here at the forum first.
From NitroX's post, he must have sent them airmail.
Hooray! Thanks NitroX.

A large quantity of the books arrived in the USA this week. I would expect they will be available from specialty retailers soon. Meanwhile, the books will be offered at the Holland & Holland booth next week during at the Vintagers World SxS Championships.

I wonder, is it polite practice for competitors to try to sell their goods in someone else's "shop"? Very bad manners I would think. Drop me a line as we welcome supporters at NE.

About 80 books went off this morning. About 2 weeks to the furthermost destinations, more or less.

Books sent throughout Aust, plus USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, NZ, UK, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, France and Spain.

I subsidised the non-Aust and NZ postage so didn't really make anything out of those copies. Plus gave a few away. Long anticipated I hope the copies received prove useful.

Graeme's book is internationally popular.

Your efforts to get this book out in a group buy has also made you internationally popular also, John!

It's appreciated!
