9.3 x 72R - how does it rate???
      #71274 - 12/02/07 05:14 AM

How is the 9.3 x 72R? Where does it fit in, caliber/game wise?

Does anyone out there have any experience with one? Is it worth pursuing? Is it a disadvantage, price wise?

Thanks

OWD

Owd, I owned a drilling in this cal. for 20 years, shot only handloads. It shoots a 193 gr .364 dia. bullet at 2000 to 2100 fps. I used Rotweil cases and Dkt bullets. There ok if you dont push them over 2000 fps, to soft. I killed several deer at under 100 yds. they will kill dear if you dont push it and stay under 100 yds. It is comparable to the 35 rem or the 38-55 in power. Enjoyed hunting and shooting it very much but was woried about falling on it. Rich
