Im selling my John Kingsley Heath Book "Hunting the Dangerous Game of Africa",the book is in new mint condition,$850 shipped.If you go to Amazon.com a used one sells for $780 thats for a used one.The book is rare and are hard to find.

Unless their are 2 posters on 2 gun forums with the name "capebuf" and both are selling the same book for the same price, or you have two of them, how come one on another forum has "sold" on it "Posted 22 September 2011 23:53" which is days ago ?

The book is back for sale,the person that was suppose to buy the book backed out.Ive done some investigating,those books(John Kingsley Heath Hunting the Dangerous Game of Africa) listed on amazon going for those high prices($700-$780)never sold for those prices so I will sell the book which is in new mint condition for $400 shipped,which is a fair and reasonable price.

This is an official Administrator query.

Were there two books for sale, or one? Did the buyer drop out of the sale on AR, and there one is for sale, or a buyer here on NE drop out of the second book sale?

The story seems to change ... I suggest you post a photo of you personally holding a copy of the book, and scans of some of its pages, including edition date etc.

This may help your sale prospects.

Of course the price was originally steep, though it is a vintage book, so it might take a while. Abebooks is a good way to sell vintage books.

The person from AR dropped out and now I have two copies one im going to keep and one I will sell,I dont have a digital camera to post a photo,I should have been more clear.I took the prices I found on Amazon and went with that,I thought those prices were high so I did alittle investigating and found out that those books on Amazon never sold for that so I went to ABE books and seen what they were going for and drop my price to what would be a fair price which I took off of ABE books,sorry for the confusion.......
