Suggestions requested on wildlife management

The government of India has set up a task force to look at introducing an "African model" for wildlife management in India. Lynx, a member here, is in touch with the officials concerned and we are looking at giving data and opinions from experienced professionals in this area to the task force concerned.

Any members who would like to help may please send information to Lynx, Rustam or me for sending it to the authorities concerned.

What a great idea. Perhaps some of the African and Australian professonals here can help out with some thoughts or submssions.

Some further news - the Indian government has appointed a very prominent scientist Dr SUnita Narain of the Centre for Science and the Environment as the Chair of the Task Force. This is a very positive development and I shall look forward to reporting on what happens there as I get news.
