I'm working with a few new formats for color pictures with the idea that some day I will do a big color book. Do you like this idea of showing the rifle as well as all the unique things on one picture? http://www.finegunmaking.com/ |

Yes. I think it looks good. I have sometimes done this when sending pics to people - of a gun. it is easier than sending a couple of profile pictures and a few small ones of, as you say, "unique things". It is worth playing around with the layout as some things look better in certain positions than others. |

the only information missing is a view to the muzzle.if its possible? |

I like that sort of photo as a 'summary' photo. However it would probably be too large if it allowed views in detail as well. |

For me it seems to much information in one picture. Especially when I think of a book with many formates in that manner it would remind me to a puzzle book or exploded firearms view. I believe that after regarding a few pictures you loose the concentration where to focus your eyes on. One or two inserts would be OK . Just my 2c |

Thanks for the feedback. The Kirkwood has many more unique features than most of the rifles that will be featured. I'll face the same problem with heavily engraved rifles. This would be more typical. |

That is well done , at least in my eyes. |
