With ammo still more difficult to find, I find myself shooting a lot of rimfire this summer.. Several of my friends are doing the same.. But yet again it's 1:16 twist rate, with some of the heavy 22lr loads out these days why not go 1:14? Especially if it's a long range 22lr. |

Why is everything long range? A .22 RF ? For an ugly "tactical" rifle it isn't too gross. Will satisfy the tactical 22 RF shooters to go with their tactical outfits. The CZ457 is one of the best RF actions. Oops I meant the earlier 455. Edit: the stock is wood, some aweful beech wood they have covered in rubber. One needs to wear a rubber bobysuit to properly shoot this rifle! Any know why this sort of stock is used? Cheap? Lighter? More stable? |
