CZ 457 Long Range Precision .22LR Rimfire Rifle: Review

With ammo still more difficult to find, I find myself shooting a lot of rimfire this summer.. Several of my friends are doing the same.. Found this interesting and would certainly make for a fun squirrel/gopher rig ..

CZ 457 Long Range Precision .22LR Rimfire Rifle: Review

The CZ 457 Long Range Precision .22LR rimfire is ideal for plinking targets — far, far away. Here's a review.

But yet again it's 1:16 twist rate, with some of the heavy 22lr loads out these days why not go 1:14?
Especially if it's a long range 22lr.

Seems just over .25" groups isn't doing to bad for a cheaper factory grade rifle??

This guy did a comparison seems to thing the 1:16 is just fine..

Fast twist 22LR. Are they more good-er?

Re: CZ 457 Long Range Precision .22LR Rimfire Rifle: Review

Why is everything long range? A .22 RF ?

For an ugly "tactical" rifle it isn't too gross. Will satisfy the tactical 22 RF shooters to go with their tactical outfits.

The CZ457 is one of the best RF actions. Oops I meant the earlier 455.

Edit: the stock is wood, some aweful beech wood they have covered in rubber. One needs to wear a rubber bobysuit to properly shoot this rifle! Any know why this sort of stock is used? Cheap? Lighter? More stable?
