Looks rather nice indeed, but if that is a quarter rib for weaver bases then its not my cup of tea?

I wanted to get one also but 3DOG Mike ruined it for me.. when he made the comment that the stock had a huge scrotum hanging off of it.. of something to that effect..

Sorry Ripp, gotta be more "sensitive" with my assessment of ugly.
I suppose it is nothing that a band saw and metal or horn grip cap would not fix? Have to shave or wax it first tho…….

Here's my little version of a light stalking rifle.
A neat little Fields Patent, in 303 British, barrel is 19" long. I enjoy shooting this rifle a lot, mainly with 190 grain cast projectiles, but it also really shoots with 215 Woodleighs too.

THAT is a great looking stalking rifle.. congrats.. I really enjoy/like the .303 British caliber.. very useful..
