Hi Members, I have recently got myself an Alexander Henry Falling Block in .450 3-1/4". The rifle is in overall okay condition. But, the forend Cross pin, key, or wedge fastener (or probably another name I don't know) is missing. Is it possible to find one of these either newly made or and old one, or is the only way to make one myself (or a gunsmith)? //Boryx |

Show us a picture of where it goes, and how it connects to the barrel. There a world of difference between a cross pin and a key or wedge fastener. Either are simple to fabricate. |

It’s a wedge fastener unless it is a spartan rifle like a sealing rifle which often just had a simple pin. Should be able to buy one from a muzzle loading rifle parts seller that can be filed to fit. |
