Alois Mogele, Mannheim
I bought a rifle with this name engraved on the barrel, I am presuming this is a retailer and not a maker? I am not finding much of anything on it. All the other rifles I was able to find where falling block Schützen types. This particular rifle is built on an 1893 Steyr action converted to single shot with DST and claw mounts.

you say it,local gunmaker who did a repair here and make a scope mount there, selling a double gun this week and a target rifle next
the rifle in question was made for him in Suhl /Zella Mehlis
