Value on WR Imp Martini?

For those that would know a lot more than I...
Is this worth the money? Going by the description.
I haven't looked at it in person as yet.
It started out at $3500.00 AUD.

Current price $2850AUD is $2049USD. In US market that might be premium in that configuration. THe more desirable models are the sporters in longer cartridges.

I have one like it, 1 1/2 inch Carbine and shoot it regularly. Made my brass for 50/90 Sharps.

I see that it is a gun shop listing the gun. I would expect their prices to be higher.

In the US I would offer $1500USD/$2000AUD and see what happens, and walk away if they didn't take it.

That’s pretty sound advice from D.D. there.
That said, I have convinced myself on a number of occasions to pick up rifles such as this with the rationale that they are super fun rifles to shoot and they are still priced pretty low, all things considered.
For one that is more capable than the No. Carbine, look for a No.2 Musket or No.1 Express with a nice bore of course.

Thank you Gentlemen, looks like I'll have to go and have a look, even just to see what "fair condition" means by their description.
