Luftwaffe drilling on used guns

Would love one of these ! one on usedguns for $13000.00 in fair looking cond ,one with the box and bits would be good, but they are going up all the time to painful prices ! Germans just could not help themselves, making good stuff to go down in flames or up in smoke in War !

Too much for me. Im more than happy with my model 3000 export in 7x65R and i got an aimpoint and scope with it. The condition looks pretty average.

Through the 80's & 90's, most drillings here sold for $1,500.00 through about $3,000.00 tops, for excellent condition.
Yes- I understand prices should, over time, go up some, but $300,000 is stupid.

Insane.......chalk it up to greedy “investors” (spit-patooie) )in the market rather than colletor-shooters that really like to use and care for a bit of history and gunmaking art.

Prices on that site always seem excessive.

I would love on, but would also use it.

Re: Luftwaffe drilling on used guns

if it had its original transit chest/case I would pay $13000 but on its own and some stampings sanded off and non original butt pad maybe $5000 , I would value it as...........I always wanted a Luftwaffe Drilling but too expensive so I imported this modern version Sauer 3000 in 12x12 over 9.3x74R, love this drilling!

PhotoVomit is blocking them. Can not even access them from the PB site ... I will try to retrieve when they show up again ...

Don't delete your account please. Just use a better site for new photos. Every now and again we can access the PB images.

Re: Luftwaffe drilling on used guns

Over the past couple months, I've been uploading my pictures from PBucket back to my computer.
The easiest way to do this, is to make a new folder, specific to the pictures I am retrieving, but in my 'Guns Folder.

I then open the album on PBucket,
left click the first picture, then
right click and click on "save image as",
choose the new named folder in my computer, and
click 'save'.
Click on the right arrow for the next picture, etc, etc.
This is the fastest way I've found - bulk loading
pictures/folders/albums form photobucket to my computer
ties up my computer too long. I've found and slows it down
for other chores while it is doing this, thus I might as
well upload them one at a time as it is faster for me and I
can pick and chose as well.

Perhaps this should all get its own thread, 'Photophucket' or something?

I had never stored anything on Pbucket, and now post photos with http://picr.de/.

What you have posted could be of great value to those who have stored with Pbucket if the post were where it could easily be found.
