Post-WW2 Sauer & Sohn drillings

Dear All
I am seeking some detailed information about post-WW2 Sauer & Sohn drilling production at Eckenförde:
- I think - that's not much, that Sauer & Sohn resumed drilling production in 1953 with drilling model S53 and subsequently introduced model 3000 in 1956 (both steel & dural versions).
- My questions are, if anybody can help: What are the main differences between models S53 and 3000? There are sometimes online references to model 300 drillings , but I can't find any reference to M. 300 in the S&S information; did this model 300 existed or is it only a version of the M. 3000? Until when were drilling produced by the company before they moved to Isny-Im-Allgäu?
Thank you in advance for any information you may share.
Louis

Re: Post-WW2 Sauer & Sohn drillings

I can tell you that they lengthened the barrels from 23 5/8" to just over 25". The 3000s also had hog-back stocks, and I believe the receiver is a bit lighter built and less strong.
