Best detachable conversion of SEM to Picatinny Rail?

I have a lovely sauer 3000 drilling with a SEM montage and a 1.5-6x36 diavari on it. I have been looking to put a picatinny rail on it so I can get it lower with a 1-6x24 scope and go back to using my aimpoint on it. Has anybody done a conversion that can put a low detachable picatinny rail on a drilling with an existing SEM montage base, or recommend a cheap alternative. I still would like to see down the rib with the flip open sights for shotgunning hence I don't want to just bolt a picatinny rail to the top of the rib.

Google "suhler einhakmontage adapter" and you will find a lot of options.
Happy New Year to all.

Re: Best detachable conversion of SEM to Picatinny Rail?

Just checked most of the links and I already have a recknagel picatinny SEM adapater but you must screw the front end into the mounts which then makes it permanent and means you can't take it off and use the drilling like a shotgun without affecting the sight picture. Most of the links refer to this or they say buy a complete ZF system which will cost about $1200 to import and get installed.
