Ruger No1 replacement safety
|
I just ordered this safety from the USA its a Trop replacement safety for Ruger No1's, no more ejected cases getting caught on the safety, anyway once fitted I will report back !

I fitted one on a .375 and it worked well. It also looks nicer than the factory safety. It is very easy to install as well.

You can modify the existing safe in 30 minutes with a file. Generally the factory safe works fine with rimless cartridges. You can also adjust the factory ejector to toss them out or just drop them in the tray. With two in the left hand dump and reload is almost as fast as the ejector tossing them out. It's a valuable skill to master as ejectors, regardless of the safety, don't always toss empties clear. A lower ejector setting also avoids dinging up the comb.
It only takes one shot to get enough meat for a lot of tacos.
