seasons greetings, gentlemen i have a pipsqueak single shot, a tiny copycat of a winchester low wall in .25-20 WCF. it is my "rook rifle". shoots real good. it was made by the Dix brothers at their Falling Block Works in Troy Michigan back in the late 1960's or early 70's. i think it is a Model J. cute little gun, 22" barrel, weighs 6 lbs even complete with leupold 2-7x compact scope. and that is the sum total i know about it. anybody have any additional info on FBW's and/or Model J? most of all, do any of you know anyone who specializes in these rifles, might have some for sale, or spare parts, manuals etc? i love the little thing and would enjoy getting a couple more, maybe barrel one to .17 K-hornet for example. thanks much in advance lapsub |

My best recollection is that the FBW single shots were offered in several action variations and sizes in the 1970s, you could buy complete rifles or actions alone, the big actions would stand about anything. |

How much? I have seen these actions a few times and would love to put a small rifle together. BB |

Price for the pair is $975.00 including shipping. I do not want to split them up. |

Is that 1-14 thread on the bigger action the same as on Martinis and Farquharsons? |

RJL, Please update your location information. It would help whoever is interested in buying your actions. Best wishes, |
