Martini/Snider Internet Sites This is a listing of current websites related to Martini and Snider rifles found on the internet. . I have broken them down an posted them here in a new format. Each category is set out by itself so you can more easily find what you need. Click on any link and you will be taken to the webpage. All the topics will be locked except the very last one called Feedback. Please feel free to post any new site you become aware of, there. If you see a site has shut down or changes its link, please let me know. Warning: Contact these sites for information about their products before ordering. Dealers may not update their sites frequently. Dealers may list rifles that they no longer have and may have rifles not listed. It’s best to send them an email or make a phone call to inquire about what they have. On large websites use their search function to find what you are looking for or use your browser find function to search. Do your research before you order. Query the Companies on http://www.Google.com . Find out what is being said about the companies on the Internet. Make sure you know who you are dealing with and where they are. Get contact information including email and business address and telephone number Before you send money communicate with the company. Ask about delivery dates, back order and stock availability. Lock down delivery dates. If possible, pay with a credit card. Don’t send cash. Keep records of every contact and transaction. Keep in mind that a lot of these products are unique items. You won’t find them at Wal-Mart. The items are often hand made by craftsmen who work out of their garage. These people often have a real job and work on these products in their spare time. It is time consuming and costly to set up and make these articles. Be patient. I can not vouch for the reliability of any of these sites. You must deal with them with caution. I am only providing this list a reference. If you have a complaint, after you have addressed the complaint with the seller in a professional business like manner, and it was not resolved, drop me an email with the details-facts, not rantings. I will review the facts and consider making a note on the list about the issue. I will not mediate If you find a site relating to Martini or Snider rifles and related items or find a site is no longer active drop me an email at ddgofer@hotmail.com. The most current up to date copy if this list is always posted at http://pub182.ezboard.com/fbritishmilitariaforumsfrm5.showMessage?topicID=46.topic Martini Websites Jason Atkin’s website http://www.martinihenry.com/ Go here to learn the different models and how to disassemble and assemble your Martini. I am redoing the Martini Internet resource list . One of the first changes is that it will be posted on a non forum website. I am not ready to disclose what website yet. You will like the list’s new home. I have never had much time for forum rivalries as I am always willing to share my knowledge with everyone. I do understand that some feel it is inappropriate to link over to another forum. That is why I sought a neutral location. Besides when you see where it ends up you will agree that is where the list belongs. I am real short on sites that are small Martini associated. I am also short on New Zealand, South African, Australian and European sites. If you have any sites that would be good to have on the list please send them to me at ddgofer@hotmail.com. Sites anywhere in the world are welcomed. My only requirement is that they be internet associated. They must have an Internet website or have an email address for contact. |
