Homer - that's a great bench. Bit different than mine. With the folding legs, they take up a bit more room than yours. We were shooting gophers back to that bunch of spruce trees in the back ground - 325 yards. The line of Aspens in front of the benches, to the left side of the picture are 220 yards. |

G'Day Fella's, Thanks for that and good to see Daryl, and thanks for sharing. A stunning looking patch of country, for a day's Gopher shooting! Regards Homer |

Great rig Homer, might make up something similar - mind you there is no way mine will be as flash as yours though! I have a slot together 3 gun cleaning stand, (4 piece) easy to transport; uses old towels to cover the wood to protect your firearms. |

Quote: Pleasure is all mine. We shot over 200 from those two benches. Some shots were taken through the trees to that ridge you can see through the aspens (poplars). The little Martini on the ground is a BSA - was .22 LR, which I converted over to .17HMR with a GM bl. and my own reamer. It will shoot 3/8" at 100 meters with Hornady 17gr. Vmax. When at other farms we got to with the quads, we use those as benches. It's about 335 yards to the bush line. |

This one was shot at the back spruce tree - over 300yards- in the bottom jaw-line, with a .17Rem, 25gr. Hornady HP, at 4,120fps mv. I called it, "Here's Looking at You" |

I think the folding legs on the benches I posted, cost $24.95 at the local Canadian Tire Store. |
