G'Day Fella's, They say that "Necessity, is the Mother of Invention". Well it wasn't quite an Invention but I did have a need for a bit of Necessity recently on my Toyota Land Cruiser (TLC). Here is a link to a thread I posted, on the Enough Gun forum. https://enoughgun.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=9215 Hope it helps D'oh! Homer |

Well done, Homer. Good work. Not many vehicles today can be fixed by the owners. |

For the sake of say of a $10 part, you get ripped off $200-300 for a bloody new starter motor! Also happens in the electrical appliance game; the companies make the damn things that are designed to last 1 year & 1 day; break down & then it becomes a 'superseded' model...no parts available! Good fix Homer by the way - loved the work! |

The same thing happened to my wife's Isuzu Rodeo after 200,000 miles. The contacts were $10, a new starter was over $200. Worked fine after that. A five minute job, after you remove the starter..... |

G'Day Fella's, Love that image Rothhammer1. And that would have made the repair, a lot easier for me. Merry Christmas Homer |
