I've got one, someone made it up with 2 x 12 bore rifled barrels.
Although I think the previous owner used "light nitro" loads in it but he said it was a ripper to shoot.
No, it wouldn't be difficult, it's just like making a 577 2 3/4 on a 12 Bore shotgun action.

The thought of having that 3" case, with its 9 dram bp ability is tantalizing as hell.

Yes, well I heard it goes off.
It uses brass cases.
I will get to try it sometime !!!
