Wife broke in her new little Tikka --chambered in 22-250..
She has been using that caliber for Antelope for the past 6 years..ALL one shot kills to this point..wicked little round, IMHO...with NO recoil...

Nice little buck - CONGRATULATIONS young lady and nice 6pt bull Art. Well done.

Is she still using the 50gr. Ball. Tip, RIPP?

Some guys up here prefer the 55gr. Speer for deer and bears.

Nice one Mrs Ripp!
Any good eating those pronghorn?
And that big one with the bow.....well done matey!
Nice rack & I bet a lot of work to get all that meat out; would have been tough going - but well worth it!

Well done with the bow Art and your other half's scored a good Antelope there.

Great pic's as well. What camera and settings did you use for the second photo?

Yes --still using factory Rem ammo with 50 gr ballistic tips..hammers them..who would have thought..The first time we tried it I was shocked at how the pronghorn dropped..have used them ever since..but now she has her own Tikka so I can have mine back..

YES, IF the cook knows what they are doing..very very good eating..we also make sausage sticks out of them to eat in the field while camping, hiking or hunting..also very good

RULE303

camera was my cell phone..
I did do some settings with the PRO section..moved the ISO to 400 or 500 possibly

Have to much other gear/crap to keep track of..so with the Samsung ph close by that is all I ever carry anymore...

Thank you

Ripp

Ripp,

I'm glad hunting is not a completion. I think you get more hunting done in a year then most people do in a decade.

Well done and I'm a little envious that you have a mate who shares your passion. Mine will ski, kayak and hike with me. But she is a ......... vegetarian.

Thank you..and yes, indeed I am lucky ..

She also enjoys backpacking, hiking, skiing, generally anything the outdoors has to offer...rare in todays world...

Have a great day

Ripp
