Some Pictures From Last Year

Not to bombard you with pictures, but I thought I would throw in a few from last year (and by last year, I mean the 2015-2016 hunting season).
I looked for a lease before the 2015 season because my youngest had not been old enough to hunt much when I was hunting south Texas regularly. I realized she had only two more years before heading off to college, so looked for a place for us to hunt.
I was lucky to find a place and we got to work getting things set up for the season.
We were lucky in that she took her first big game animals, a hog and a whitetail doe.
My oldest was also able to take a hog.
My middle daughter was not as lucky. I did get her within rock-throwing distance a couple of times. She could not get steady the first time and the second we had cows and calves mingled in with the pigs and I didn't want to risk an accident. She took this picture from the blind. You can see a calf on the right. Without the tunnel vision of the scope, you would be able to see a lot more livestock. They just didn't want to leave.
We did determine that the lease had a lot of potential for hog hunting.

Charles, always good to see hunting pics. Is that stealth cam shot for real!

Absolutely a real shot from the game camera. Have not seen the large black one in the middle recently. Hate to think how big it is.
Most of the groups I have on camera recently have more small pigs and not so many larger ones, like the recent picture below (sorry for the angle, cows seem to have knocked the camera sideways for a while, then it righted itself...). Of course, they grow quickly.
