IMO way over priced, but I am astonished often by what used and second hand firearms are selling for nowadays. And also what some new rubbish tupperware sells for. |
yes price is to high but only because there are thousends and demand is not in thousends. they are nice as any best gun and you loved it when you have one. ok, they are probably not there every day in australia because its a long way to ... sweden. |

No wonder Homer you were tempted! Read an old article in an Outdoors magazine where they jacked a round in the chamber & supposedly filled the bore with sand & pulled the trigger - rifle was still OK after that! Tough stuff those Huskies! |
That one is in nice shape, Homer, but it is about $1,200.00 over priced, imho. |

Quote: Good serviceable working rifle and excellent having a M98 action and a good cartridge chambering. But like most Huskies the stock is very plain and cheap. In these days of tupperware rifles selling for ridiculous prices though ... |

Sold in an hour ... per the advert. If only we could import firearms from North America and Europe at reasonable costs ... |

G'Day Fella's, Thank You for your replies. Yes, this blokes asking price,is the reason I didn't even bother to get in a discussion with him. It looks to be Very Nice but Waaaaay overpriced. And Thank You for confirming this, with your replies, and also those links, to other/similar Husky's. If I could have handled the rifle, and confirmed it was in Original Condition etc, etc, I may have made an offer (a lot lower than the asking price), but ............ Happy Easter to You and Yours! Coming up! Best wishes to all. |

The trouble is Homer, people seem to pay some ridiculous prices nowadays. However sometimes while someone might pay 3x what something cost not many years ago, later on, another example might sell for only 2x what it cost a few years before ... the market is out of my reckoning now. But hopefully mine are worth a mint as well then. |

G'Day again, This one is in the same chambering as the above one (which did sell on the same day t was advertised) but made by Brenneke, and asking a huge amount of $. But you can't just "Sally" down to your local gun shop, and find one of these, so .............. https://usedguns.com.au/gun/354023/ So on ANZAC Day-Lest We Forget! Homer |

G'Day Fella's, Here is yet another, very tempting rifle ........, well not at this asking price! https://usedguns.com.au/gun/356916/ How many/few ZG47's, were ever made in this chambering? Not a lot I imagine, so for this one to find its way, all the way down to the Antipodes, must make it pretty rare. D'oh! Homer |
