Those ain't rifles they are lethal works of art. You would need real deep pockets.

Beautiful rifles for sure although I notice that the price has gone up significantly recently. They make very nice take-down models and they still make rifles in 318WR and 425WR. Interestingly since Simon Clode's passing away the Explora blog has not featured one Bolt-Action rifle whereas when Simon did the blog he regularly featured Bolt-Action rifles from both WR as well as other makers.

Don’t laugh or cry. A year before Simon passed we started discussion on a stainless synthetic bolt rifle built on classic WR lines. He had noticed that I often use a big calibre bolt (sako) in that style. Sometimes you can’t look after a rifle and he thought there may be an opportunity along that line. I was keen to advance it however Simon ran out of time.

Remember I have never paid more than the proper price new for a new London best. We have all paid multiples more for a second hand London best than someone paid new for it. Thank god that people buy them new so that our grandchildren can pay multiples above the new price of the gun as it ages.

Unfortunately the US government wont let you cash in your 401k to invest in one.

Do you mean he agreed to build a WR with a synthetic stock?
