Hambrusch Gunmakers Ferlach.

I have never owned an Austrian built gun, or know that much about them, I understand that Hambrusch is a well regarded gunmaker and very historic, that being said, they have a rifle that I have been looking to add to my collection for some time. Can anyone here reflect on their history or guns in their personal collections? Thank you!

They make some of the highest end stuff you can buy today but over the last century the quality and design,(and value)can vary considerably.

Can you elaborate on the quality changing over the century?

Re: Hambrusch Gunmakers Ferlach.

I have a combination gun built by them in the early 1970's - beautifully made, accurate and just wonderful to own and use, and I use it regularly. Its a 16 bore over 7x65r and as such very versitile. I have taken ducks, phaesant, fox, red and roe deer and wild boar with mine. I have just ordered an Einstecklauf in 7x65r so it can be used as a double rifle when needs be.
