Gentlemen,
Many of you will no doubt have seen this before but this is some rifle.
Peter Hambrusch with his Mega Magnum
bolt action rifle cal. .700 N.E.
I wonder how long Herr Hambrusch can hold it like that?

Interesting that rifle has used the vertical stack centre line feed magazine like the big Weatherbys and HS Precision rifles.
Should provide smooth and trouble free feeding.

It'll take several blackomatics to carry that howitzer! And then a few extra to hold it up while the owner shoots it! Or does it come with it's own support vehicle and a hydraulic lift?
I have to admit though that it's kind of cool in a weird way.

Gentlemen
The client that can afford to purchase it probably can afford a very strong blackamatic (or two) to lug it around all day behind him when on safari. While he strolls along with his swagger stick. Afer all this is exactly what the early elephant hunters did with their single shot 4-bore cannons. A couple being ported behind, while the gentleman carried his .577 "small" bore for antelope.
Looking at Saeed's madman .700 NE videos I think the weight may not be a bad idea.
Irrespective of its practicality it is an interesting rifle.

does it come with a big Zeiss on top of it?
It is probably a very fit boltrifle for that cal. and in the hand of a bigger man it might dont look so big eather.
But there is no doubdt that Hambrush can build guns. We must give him that. He might just have some interesting customers. Rather this one, than the DB Repeter gun that blazer is coming up with.

Thread resurrection:
If they knocked off that schnabel, put on an ebony cap that follows the slimming lines of the forend, then made a 2 round magazine rather than the 3 that makes it stick out so much (would give a 2+1 cap then) it would probably look significantly smaller.

I can’t imagine it would remove too much weight.
Dunno why but I love the .700 caliber..and probably will right up until the moment I fire one, ha!

I think there would be 1 to 2 pounds removed, with magazine box & stock reduction and the forend's "KNOB" removed.
Actually, upon looking at it more closely, as a rifle, I see it has nothing for me.
I'll hunt with my '06 or for bigger stuff, the .375 or one of my 9.3x62's

This is perhaps the biggest disappointment in a NE thread to date. I do appreciate the OP providing me the opportunity to pontificate. Given the resources and potential, the result is a tragic waste. Poor taste or simply silly? Not the idea, but the execution.
It is not a to say this is a crazy idea, practical aside, it should have been possible to build a rifle that looked much better. To get an idea, look at the lines of a savage bolt action 12ga. Yes a cheap plastic gun, but; look at the lines. There is no reason a big, even impractical gun has to look silly. A little bit of engineering consulting would result in a proper size action.
Added firepower if wanted could be an optional magazine without the ultra ugly pot belly stock. Octagonal barrel! This gun reminds me of a 300 pound fat lady in yoga pants, who thinks she is making a fashion statement.
