Reputable overseas dealers. Looking for a type A.

I am searching for a Mauser type A, currently I can't find one here in the states, can any of you gentlemen recomend a foreign dealer. Located in either the UK, Australia or Germany that could possibly export a type A to the US? Thank you.

Gundog, if you're patient you'll find one in the States. I'd suggest following the auctions at Amoskeag, Poulins, Morphy, and Julia and also dealers like Morris Hallowell, Champlin Arms, and Griffin and Howe. Poulins had a very nice .404 Jeffery Type A recently and Amoskeag has had several Type A's over the last couple of years. You can also check Gunbroker, Gunauction, and Guns International.

In the way of overseas auction houses, try Holts, Walter Borg, Herman Historica, Springer, Bonhams, and Gavin Gardiner. You never know what will turn up. I have 5 or 6 Type A's that I've picked up in various places over the years, but no rare calibers. Would love a 6.5 x 54 Kurz, .404 Jeff, or 8 x 75.
