Hello Everyone Very excited about newest member of the family, I recently purchased a FN .270 rifle that I had concerns about being a salt wood stock (discussed previously in one of the threads), but after careful examination of the stock and action apart, the rifle was not one of the salties and I made the big decission and brought it. I would like to add pictures of the rifle and action on the forum and get some feedback from the experts. I never added a picture on NE forum so if someone could please guide me through the steps that would be of great help. Thanks. GPS |

Not meaning to indorse any other web site, but the only way I was able to accomplish Posting photos is by establishing an account on Photobucket.com. They have a pathway addresses for this. There is a designated IMG Code that is copied and placed to the Post on the forum. After a number of months on the Forum, I finally figured this out just recently. I enjoy the older FN Mauser sporters. I have one in .375 from the 1950's and a new 1970's disco stocked vesion (squared angles, white lines, montecarlo roll-over, all the stuff I don't like) in .30-06. I have a few FN actioned '98 military carbines that are like commercial finish as well. Hope the above helps. |

Anybody know when this gun was made? My son has one exactly like it in the same .270 caliber, except I think my son's was rebarreled at some point and definitely was epoxy bedded. |
