Gun 17 of 25 is a rifle that turned heads and caused a great deal of interest at the annual Adihex show in Abu Dhabi in 2015. The engraving on the 'Falcon' rifle was completed by Miroslav Makovicka. The bolt handle is carved and features an eagle’s claw holding an orb. #RIGBY #GUNMAKERS #FITFORPURPOSE

The falcon engraving on the floorplate is quite "art deco". At least that is the style it looks like to me, might have another style name.
I have a house full of art deco bits, as it fittings, from the past. Not sure if I like art deco, but it grows on one.
In any case this falcon is very well done. The bolt handle is also very good. The engraving on this rifle is a little more reserved. I am guessing it would have been a commission for a Middle Eastern customer, falconry being very big in the ME.
