Ferlach made M 98 hunting rifle

find this pics of a Mauser hunting rifle made between the wars and its interesting to see it have a typical austrian Ferlach taste.

see the Vienna snap mount, the rail on the barrel with rear sight, the style of the double set trigger and the design of the stock especially around the magazine.
something you will find again on this M 95 and carcano sporters:

Ferlach made M 98 hunting rifles between the wars are not common

Suppose it is the reverse of the what we know as the typical claw mount now-a-days.
With the main 'feet' supports being drifted in I suppose they could get knocked off line more easier than screwed bases. A very interesting find & beautiful rifle just waiting to be used hunting!
