M-S MCA Carbine
|
|
I couldn't stand it so I bought this 30'06 Carbine for $1000. Wish the stock had not bee fitted with a recoil pad and the rear sight was included but, these are the only warts I found. How bad did I get skinned?

That's a nice find even if the other trigger fell lol. most of the ones I see at gunshows are 1200$ and a local shop has been sitting on two for 1500$. My carbine I paid 800 back in about 1996.my mca which is in fair shape i paid 600$ about a year ago so I think u did good

Very nice.
That is one fine looking rifle. Photographing it in its 'natural habitat' sets it off nicely.
As much as I'd prefer an M1924 Sequoia for a .30-'06 MS, I'd be mighty tempted to go $1,000 for that one, myself.
My M1910 (Takedown) has the single trigger.
Good 'score'.

Thanks all. ducmarc, the scope is an old Vari-X 3-9x Leupold in Adjusto mounts. I have a 1.5-5x Leupold that is begging to be mounted on it.:-) I cleaned her up yesterday and believe the bolt had never been stripped and cleaned. Think I'll take her to the range and dirty her up again this morning.

All went well at the range this morning! Smallest group was 1.025" and largest 1.80" with different handloads. I'm pleased with my purchase.
