Here are a few pics of my latest addition. Unfortunately the stock is not in original condition and the numbers also don't match on the bolt and action, but the price reflected that so I'm not too fussed. The best part of the find is probably the 6 packets of original Kynoch ammo. Enjoy the pics. |

What a terrific hunting rifle! Only thing better, would be, well now, not sure there is anything better - well done. |

Nice find. BTW the wrist of the stock is easily reshaped. I like my cased A&N, a greatly underestimated intermediate cartridge. |

You don't specify rifle or carbine, but since it appears to be a take down model from the latch in front of the trigger guard, I assume that it's a rifle. |

Nice. I bought one about a year ago with the intention of refinishing it myself......when I get the time. It's numbers are all matching, and has a good bore but definitely needs a reblue and refinish on the stock. I hope you enjoy yours...........they are beautiful old girls full of character and mystique. Cheers. GG |

Did you see my article in NZ Guns and Hunting magazine on the 9,5x57 M.Sch.? Subject rifle is also a take-down. |

Quote: Hahah!!! Wow, the 9.5 has to be one of my new favorites! I was running a light load of 2208 behind 235 grn Speer and 250 grn Taipans in 9.3x57 Norma brass and hitting targets out to 60yrds with the open sights! Awesome little rifle and and so much fun to shoot. I can't wait to stalk some deer or goats with this old girl. |
