Lee-Speed mannlicher stock?

I have a Greener retailed L/S that I bought basically as a parts gun from another member here a couple of years ago. The worst is that the ribbed barrel was bobbed back to 19.5" and the bore(303) was almost devoid of any trace of rifling and looking at it through a borescope would make you cry. I sent it off and am having it rebored and chambered to .375x2.5 flanged. The stock is well worn and has obviously been refinished many times so I am going to restock it. Is there anyone who makes correct 90% inletted sporter stocks with a mannlicher length forestock? I am trying to restore this old sporter as best as possible to its original style and with the short barrel, a mannlicher would look nice. It seems like someone in Australia might supply stocks like these, can anyone help?

Try Hatcher's for the semi-finished option.
Pretty sure he will be open to the Mannlicher-style forend.

Marrakai, thanks for the link! Does anyone know of any others that may produce such a stock? Does anyone have a picture of a Lee/Speed stocked in the Mannlicher style?

Most unusual but very attractive, love the full stocked short rifles, what is the barrel length?
A 5 round mag would look very nice!

Yuma, that is a beauty indeed! The only difference I would need would be a traditional pistol grip with cap. That is by far, the nicest rendition of the L/E buttstock/grip that I have ever seen. What was the source of your stock, was it a commercial semi-inlet? Very, very nice!

Roger, if you have more pics, I'd love to see them. I got my barrel back from being rebored and rechambered from 303 to 375x2.5. It came out great and I can't wait to get out and shoot it!

Short #4 on a full length stock. Cool!
Of course, it could be a #5.

Re: Lee-Speed mannlicher stock?

The only problem I have with a pistol grip on the short barrelled full wood Enfields is that they look bulky and detract from the overall lines.
Below is the original incarnation of my LSA in 303/25
