Are there difficult hoops to jump through bringing a Lee Speed into the US as there are for Mausers?

Its no big deal to import from Germany, Stever Bertram will do it no problem.
Has anyone dealt with that seller before? Does he check out, there are about five guns I would like to purchase off him.
Any comments would be appreciated.

I bought my 461 Gibbs from him.
No problems whatsoever and would not hesitate to buy from him again.
I would like to see more pictures of the Grant. Better that I don't though if you know what I mean...

HI,
I'm at the last hurdle for my first import of a Lee-Speed from the UK. It has taken a few months, cost a little extra and of course lots of emails back and forth. But overall the experience hasn't been too bad and was less trouble than I thought.
The rifle has now been shipped, so I'm waiting to hear from my US importer. Then it's just paying him and getting it to my local FFL.

I did it myself as an antique.
Still used a customs broker but don't know if that was really neccessary. Maybe because it was over a certain value iirc.
