Probably done back in the day when these things were blowing down the street with the wind.
What really breaks my heart is that all my attempts thus far to build a time machine with a 500 cu ft luggage compartment have failed!

Sarg, does it mean the Steyr M 88 in .315 India is safe now from being butchered because of the rear sight? that would have break my heart.

I was hoping people would forget about that one & I could whip the sight off it, I do need about 5 of these sights for my brood of BSA's !
I was eyeing the set on my other Steyr sporter as well !
