LSA Lee Speed arives

Picked up the Lee Speed i purchased from used guns this week. Is well used as a gun of this age should be. Love the look and feel of it. Feeds nicely and came up ok after a good clean up. Out for a shot sunday. Anything any one knows from the pics would be glad to hear.

Looks to have been rebarelled and the original sights refitted. Also bolt number differs to the action. They certainly new the true meaning of a light weight rifle in those days. Is there any way of woking out the year of manufacture?

Your Lee Speed spent some time with the home guard which is what the HG numbers are on the stock and action , the LE1 on the butt socket would bring the date of manufacture to about 1900 + or - I think ,if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will set you straight.

cheers
Pete

Thanks Pete.
I was wondering what they were about. Thanks for the info. Find out how it shoots Sunday.
