That's been listed multiple times. Never saw a photo of it's bore, though.

Good in theory, but how does he know they weren't made in the hundreds in a batch ?

The rear sight is not original to the rifle - it looks like the rearsight from a CCLE or "territorial pattern" long lee which was not made before 1907.
The bolt also looks military marked by the serial # position.
