we all have seen pistols being fired in slow motion but the schwarzlose pistol with the barrel blowing forward is realy cool,

Amazingly fast acting action.
It appears that if the barrel was much longer, the
bullet would not escape before the action opened. That
would not be good.

found 2014 in the estate of a(german?) collector, a schwarzlose pistole that was owned by the kaiser
the holster was also there that is seen here on the belt of the Kaiser
so he was wearing this little pistol when hunting

That pistol is case he runs out of ammo and the wounded bear is going to "get him".
Would really only need to be single shot.
