Shooting the 11mm Lefaucheux revolver

good video how to shoot the 11 mm pinfire revolver
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=513&v=r2KGMaMDZfw
years ago I was making a lot of 11 or 12 mm ( what you want to call them) pinfire cartridges but using the 45 acp case without cuting the base. never thought if you close the hole in the base with tin solder this will stand firing.

That's cool.; I would never have thought 50/50 solder would be good enough to seal the pressure at the base. I'd have used hard (high temp) silver solder on a short rod that fit properly. A .001" (1 mil) (not mm))joint would have very much more strength than needed. Perhaps due to the tiny hole, more strength is not needed.

I've always wanted one of the big bore pinfire revolvers. Some day one will cross my path at the right price.
