http://www.handgunsmag.com/editorial/review-sig-sauer-p-320-x-carry/356884 Good info on this handgun... have had ZERO failures of any kind with mine..4000 rounds and counting.. For the money, really feel Sig knocked this one out of the park.. |

The P320 gives me the hobbit jibbies as a carry gun. Striker at full cock with now safeties scares me. I picked up an M17 for the shop because they have a manual safety. |

That guy in the video can shoot amazingly fast. Being a novice handgun shooter, I had a good look at his grip on the handgun and the placement of his hands. I think I need to adjst my grip somewhat in a minor way. See if emulating him gives me more control in recoil. Those SIGs still sound like plastic when being operated and handled ... |

While I would prefer an all steel handgun ,.. If one had one of these or similar model SIGs, what bits need changing to change the calibre/cartridge? Obviously the barrel, magazine/grip assembly but what else? Which part carries the serial number? |

Quote: GRIP is EVERYTHING when shooting a handgun.. That is the one thing, shooting with my Special Forces buddies they showed me at the beginning that has totally changed my accuracy and follow up shots... |

So there is no serial number on the actual steel bits, the action or "insides" , for want of a different term. So in theory I could have a 9mm and a 357 SIG on the same licence? |

Quote: YES..the only serialized portion is the trigger assembly.. the video below should show a more clear idea of what I describe as it seems you and I have a bit of a language barrier.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2Q6q6HsNKE The metal portion with the trigger is the only part with a serial number on it |

Really I was enquiring about a different barrel ... but a handgun for the calibre is much harder to get a permit to acquie here ... Haven't looked into lengths, but I might guess the carry version might be too short to have here. However the other models should be possible. I am a pistol novice, however I still steer towards a proper steel handgun to start off with. The SIG would also need to be available with handicapped 10 round maximum magazines for here. I do believe these are available. I am sure I have seen P320's for sale soon after introduction. |

That take down was pretty cool! No safety? Is it DA for the first shot - DA all shots? Did't look like it in the shooting video! |

Quote: Daryl, It basically works no different than a Glock--stricker fired..but does not have the little center safety on the trigger like a Glock does.. The grip angle is much more user friendly IMHO, than the Glock.. for me, because of the angle of a GLock, shooting instinctively point and shoot, I am always a bit low-1" or 2..so,, I always aim for the top of the head.. TO be totally honest, of all the handguns I have purchased in the past couple of years, I probaby like shooting the H&K VP9 the most..very comfortable, deadly accurate, metal mags for clearing when empty, and grip angle is perfect... I also really like the GLock 19X.. again, not such a fan of grip angle, but have shot so many 1,000's of rounds through a Glock, I have grown accustom to it.. |
