A new indoor gun range opened here recently..one of the really cool things about it other than its a great facility is you can rent various pistol and try them out before you buy them..been shooting all types of different handguns..one that really surprised me actually was the Sig 320..never had an interest in it..but, man, the one I tried had one of the best triggers I have ever used on any handgun...and super accurate, I am certain partially a by-product of the great trigger..

How did the 320 compare to the 365 in your opinion? I’m a sig fan but have mostly the old folded slides and new steel. I really wanted an x5 320 when it was announced but the final commercial product didn’t move me. I like the 320 though and really like the 365 but haven’t shot the latter. A sub C 320 is close to a 365 but with the possibilities of the modular design. Not that I need another gun but....

The 320 and the 365 are 2 entirely different pistols.. see the factory specs below from the SIG web site..https://www.sigsauer.com/store/p365-nitron-micro-compact.html

The 365 has considerably smaller dimensions compared to the 320 Model's I have shot...the 320 has a much fuller grip and easier to control, even in a 9mm, the 365 is snappy to fire..has a very narrow grip..thin.. have to keep a good grip on it for fast follow up shots..

Went to the range again today and ran another 150 rounds through a 320 Compact doing drills..was very happy with the results..frankly was shooting it nearly as well as my Glock 34 that I probably have 4-5000 rounds through now..

I owned a 365 for one week..bought it new--took it to the gun range--it would not fire..broken firing pin from the factory..took it back and traded it for a Glock 43..have now put a lot of rounds through the 43 without any failure of any kind..

The 365 will be a great concealed carry handgun once the bugs are worked out..the large capacity in that small of a handgun is awesome..but will not put my families safety in a weapon with this issue for the time being.. I am not the only one who has had issues with new guns right from the factory..reading on the net, there is a definite quality control issue of some sort..

As for the 320, one of those will be in my possession within the next week.. the trigger is really really good along with the general ergonomics that fit me very well..

Just and FYI...

Ran another 300 rounds through my 320 X-Frame this weekend doing drills..the more I shoot that thing the more I like it..have already ordered another frame for it so I can change it up on size of weapon for different applications..

Have over 1000 rounds through it so far with 0 hiccups of any kind..

Trigger is one of the best I have ever used on a polymer pistol with a very nice reset..

G'Day Fella's,

Thanks for the update Ripp, and good to hear your 320 is working well.
