this is what I call the good old times
7,65 mm Parabellum, SN 21834 but maybe 2500 hunting carbines ever made by DWM so this was in the range of civil made parabellum pistols

I think 300m is a bit optimistic for this old girl - even if she's in top nick!

the 7,65 mm parabellum load for the carbine was a little bit stronger than the common pistol cartridge. when the 22 hornet works on roed deer so the 7,65 Para was maybe enough up to 50 meter with good bullet placement.

P.S. I had a long telephone conversation with this gent (Eugene Golubtsov) yesterday. What an interesting man! He is really excited about his work; and for good reason. Right now he is manufacturing Luger pistols from scratch. No castings. All machined from steel blocks. I have great desire for a Model 1907 .45ACP but don't yet know whether I have the backbone to order one.

never see this before, its a replica of a shoulder stock for the artillery luger made for a troop trial before the great war. you see its in the style of the broomhandle mauser shoulder stock

Probably an extension of the stock. But could it also be the butt stock is hollow? For standard length Lugers with a buttstock, the butt was also the holster.
Great carbine for the hunting of recalcitrant peasants!
Edit: I guess your Parabellum shown earlier, shows this stock has been extended.
