G'Day Fella's, I saved this link some time ago but only found it (again), and remembered what it was about. The Czech's have always been an innovative bunch or people and I believe, the Quite Achievers within Europe. I hope it may be of some interest to you blokes. https://www.fkbrno.com/videos-7-5 Doh! that there is no plastik get my heart in a second seems very powerful for a handgun cartridge that the pistol brings this energy to the target is another story will be the rigth thing for a new made mauser C 96 carbine was looking for more informations about the cartridge but there is not much to find http://www.gunsweek.com/en/pistols/news/fk-brno-combat-and-sport-field-pistols-75-fk-caliber if they use the good old 7,62 Tokarev aka 7,63 Mauser case as basic? this case was used by the czech before I remember a .22 wildcat using the 7,62 tokarev case in the late 1990s when there was some search for a small bore PDW cartridge http://www.quarryhs.co.uk/PDWs.htm ok, here they claim its a special case, maybe stronger for the high pressure it must have https://www.fkbrno.com/cartridge-7-5 never say never I dare to say it fits in a 9 mm Winchester Magnum pistol magazine |

Hot-rod this one for a pistol cartridge. The old 7,62 Tokarev supposedly had a very loud report.....bet these would be even more so! |

I'm kinda a tokarev nut.have 4 two t33s and two m57s and on ppsh43.handloading u can get 1700 fps out of it with a 85 gr bullet that's too rough for a cz 52 which should be stronger but isn't.had some Chinese corrosive come in a free box that shit is hot.whish I could get some more it would try to twist your wrist as u shoot it.cant say enough about those guns will punch a hole through about anything especially. So it is a 10.8mm (.425) cartridge. That folding stock on a handgun would make it an "evil" short barrelled centrefire rifle and class D here ... Looks good! |

Well........ The ballistics are nearly identical to a 30 M-1 Carbine. Not bad, but not all that impressive. I think I'll stick with my 44 magnums and my 454 Casull as well as my 357 magnums. I have killed enough game with all these to know how well they work, and using a lighter bullet going faster seem to be an answer for a non-existent question. I use 187 Gr bullets at 1375 FPS from my 357s I use 320 grain bullets at 1265 from my 4" 44 and the same load goes 1320 from my 6.5" 44 I use 370 grain bullets at 1575 from my 454 Casull. So far I have killed 37 head of game from deer, elk, buffalo and bear with my revolvers and 7 more deer my 45 Autos. I have also killed 4 deer with a S&W 45ACP M-25 Mountain Gun (revolver) using 45 Auto-Rim brass and 265 gr flat nose cast bullets at 1000 FPS. Quite effective. In addition to these wild animals, killed about 15 cattle and horses with revolvers. In my opinion a light 30 cal bullet is not going to preform as well. Why would I say that? I owned a US 30 Carbine when I was young, and so I have some experience (8 years) with 100-115 gr. 30 cal bullet at 2000 FPS and I know what they will do. Again I say, "not bad, but not all that impressive" |

Nitro-X, me thinks it is rather impressive BUT.... obtaining ammo, cases or reloading dies for it, would be a major task. Not to mention, I have never seen one of the FK-Brno pistols advertised in Oz, let alone any where else? Doh! Homer |
