http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/2015/10/22/review-ruger-redhawk-45-acp45-colt-revolver/ This looks like a really fun revolver to have. Saw in on tv last night..shooting 45lc or 45 acp out of the same gun spells fun... Ripp |

I agree. However I would opt for the exact same gun in 44 mag, but with that round butt and that barrel. I have owned 2 Redhawks and they are outstanding revolvers. I had a 5" and a 7.5". I have nothing bad to say about either one. Because I reload I would not see any advantage in having the 45 Colt and 45 ACP. The 44 will do all the same things with one shell from low velocity to high velocity and with bullets from 180 to 320. But that just me. The two 45s sure could be nice for most shooters I sure would not turn one of these down if it were a gift.............that for sure. |

Nice - but that length in a .44 Mag. would work just fine for me with special or mag. brass. |

Now if I was still living in bear country, I would be looking for one of these! I would prefer to have it in 480 Ruger, but in its absence a hot loaded 45 Colt would be perfect. |
