Re: It never Rains its Pours!

G'Day Fella's,

Thank You for the kind comment 9.3x64 but you are a "Doubting Thomas"!
It was all done by hand with Wet & Dry abrasive paper, wrapped around wooden form blocks and bit by bit, over several weeks!!!

Re: It never Rains its Pours!

Not a "Doubting Thomas" Homer, thought you'd used Wet & Dry, but with some form of polishing paste on it as well.
Quite a feat to not have any polishing marks, especially on a curved surface!
Must say that's one hell of a job mate......best to wear sunnies when shooting your rig, might be a good ploy to put the competition off with reflected glare!
Top work matey, beats donuts any day!
Cheers

G'Day Fella's,

9.3x64, sorry I neglected to mention that Yes, I did use a mild polish paste to finish off the polish job on this revolver!

Wow.

Want to polish a couple of rifles for me!

Now finish it up with a extra fine carding wheel and you will have a thing of beauty.

Re: It never Rains its Pours!

G'Day Fella's,

Ripp, it's been a while since we discussed that, so I'm not sure what I have already told you?
Given this, I purchased a Kimber Montana in .25-06 and I'm really happy with how it handles, works and shoots (1/2" to 5/8" groups)!
Due to other $ commitments (Patents etc), I've not purchased another Kimber but I now see they chamber the Montana and Mtn Accent, in some of the WSM cartridges! So, along with a Kimber Caprivi (.375 H&H) and a Pro Hunter (.223) I would like a Montana in .270 WSM!

Ripp, any news on new purchases yourself?

Regards
Homer
