Fouling
Howdy everyone I have a XP-100 in 7BR. Shoots better then me. (which is normal) I find that it copper fouls badly after 100 rounds. I am trying moly coat on the projectiles and it do's not seem to make a differance. My 223 did not foul when I mollyed, and they where going fairly hard. Is there a trick to it that i'm missing. ?

it sounds to me like you have a rough barrel. Try lapping it, or firelapping. Either will smooth it out.

Howdy everyone. Thanks Butchloc for the reply. Spoke to the previous owner of the xp-100 while at the comp on the weekend. She did not have any fouling problems, She said it was cleaned after every match. Every 110 rounds. I will have to do that as well I think till I run the barrel in. At least it shoots better then me.
