Hi Guys, I went to Holt's auction last week, did not buy much but took some pics
Purdey 500/450 No.1 BPE. Note the underlever includes the trigger guard Unsold at £7000 reserve
Another Purdey single in .450 - 3 1/4 quite nice but barrel exterior needs work £4,200 + 27% commission/tax
Hartmann & Weiss 8 X 68 S unsold at £12000 reserve
Nice drilling 20 x20 +6.5mm by Wilfred Glanzing £8000 plus T/C
.375 H&H unsold at £12000
WR in .470 this one unsold but a similar boxlock made £30000 Plus 27% !!
H&H in .240 flanged
J Roberts in 300 Win Mag
Very nice 20 bore percussion rifle by Anton Burckhardt, c. 1845 - £700 -900 estimate, sold for £2000 plus
Enjoy - more to come in Bore Rifles from H&H!!

Thanks for posting. Did you happen to see the .470 Evans that sold for $14500? (US) It appeared well used and had a crack in the stock that had been repaired.

Eye candy all right, thanks for posting! I like them all but especially that H&H .280 Flanged and the Purdey 500/450!!

There seemed to be quite a few unsold, but also quite a few with unrealistic reserves...
Caveat emptor!
