Thank you, Jorge.
I will of course post the final regulation target.

The rifle now needs to be case colour hardened, and the barrels to be blued.

Color Case is my favorite finish for a double and I'm sure it will be even better! Will you be using Kynoch ammo or Horndady to regulate?

Firstly, I would make sure that all the numbers were the same size, straight and level. Same applies to the letters in the makers name engraved and gold inlaid on the action and down the barrel.

I know its supposed to look hand made, but if it was mine I would want it done right.

I hear what you're saying. What I would say that the great thing about these sort of guns is that they're all to personal taste.
For me, I have no interest in seeing engraving which is too regimented, as I feel it then becomes a bit sterile/clinical.

I'm pretty happy with what I see.

Re: My new .500 by W J Jeffery...so far!

I donīt think Ken Hunt did the gold inlay work. The rifle is superb in the white, deep scroll engraving is not to my taste but that is like art, what one person likes another doesnīt so it is personal but the gold inlay, in my opinion is not up to scratch and I am not trying to piss on anyones party, just my opinion and it is a lovely rifle jcorry, minor details are just that, minor, best, Mike
