The Double of the Day In order to entertain our double rifle connoisseurs I have unashamedly raided the public domain of the internet. An early sidelock Holland & Holland from 1923 in .500/.465 Nitro Express. With hand detachable locks this Dominion grade double rifle has 26" barrels, double triggers, ejectors twin folding and one standing leaf express sights and a flip up moon sight. I think I will take the 600NE Purdey double. Actualy ,I might take two and keep one as a spare in case I misplace one. I wonder how often guns of this quality would be used in the field. |

cr500 That rifle was advertised for a mere US$395,000. So why not take three and bargain them down to a cool mil for the three. In answer to your question, probably never. |
